It’s day 5 of my post operative surgery. I keep thinking this is going to get better and I can finally eat some solid food. I thought the hour and half in surgery was bad. Nope. The recovery is equally as painful. I’ve still got a swollen cheek and it sort of looks like I have a golf ball in my mouth. I have to run for the bottle of Vicodin every few hours and I can’t sleep without going into a deep sweat. And to make it worse its about 85 degrees outside and I can’t do any physical activity until I get my stitches removed. I’m hoping this thing will heal by the end of next week before I fly out to China. It would be a bummer if I weren’t able to have Chinese food in China.
